Welcome to the start of Q4 (October-December), #ChallengeMe2025 crew! Today we start the gauntlet of gluttony 😆 months where there are always so many food influences looking to invade our journey. We’re going to look to stay focused, keep a positive mindset and thrive! October is health literacy awareness month so we’ll be incorporating some learning along the way to. Onto the challenge…
The October challenge, #Droptober , begins today (October 1st) and ends on Tuesday, October 28th. I chose the name because we’re going to work on dropping some knowledge, dropping negative thoughts and hopefully dropping some pounds! 😏
This is an open tracker month, where YOU get to decide how you earn your mark for the day–mostly. 😈 The tracker (available below) has 18 ghosts that you can earn based on the item you wish to focus on for the month. Maybe it’s honest tracking, water consumption, sweaty activity–anything you choose, make it something relating to the journey that you want to be consistent about. Jack-O-Lantern : Earn this by sharing a pic in a costume, a ghost story, or anything else Halloween related. Remember the challenge ends before Halloween.
Cauldron : Cook up a new recipe or try a new dish from a restaurant. Perhaps make it vegan!
Brains : As I mentioned, October is health literacy month. Knowledge is power! To earn the brains you should do a little learning or research on a health topic that interests you. I usually post a few health topics, and provide additional resource links, so you can use those for a few.
Remember you earn only one item a day and there are 25 to earn over the 28 days of the challenge. Don’t forget to use the #ChallengeMe2025 hashtag in Connect your posts so others can find it easily! Remember to check my morning posts for your team assignment.
